We've replaced the old Messages page with a unified inbox that brings together conversations, vessel inquiries, and platform notifications.

What Changed

The old Messages page only showed direct conversations. But as a maritime professional, you're juggling more than just messages — there are vessel inquiries to respond to, quotes to send, and platform notifications to track.

The new Unified Inbox brings everything into a single view so you never miss an opportunity.

What's in the Inbox

  • Messages: Direct conversations with buyers and sellers, linked to specific vessel listings.
  • Inquiries: Formal interest from buyers, with project context, duration needed, and preferred start dates. You can accept, send a quote, or decline — all from the inbox.
  • Notifications: Platform alerts like listing approvals, verification updates, and weekly view reports.

How Inquiries Work

When a buyer finds a vessel they're interested in, they can send an inquiry with details about their project. As a seller, you'll see the inquiry in your inbox with all the context you need to decide whether to engage.

If you accept or send a quote, a conversation is automatically created and linked to both the vessel listing and the original inquiry — giving you full context throughout the negotiation.

Filtering & Search

Use the tabs at the top of your inbox to filter by type (All, Messages, Inquiries, Notifications), or use the search bar to find specific conversations by company name or vessel.
